Terms of Service
Last updated July 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Jack Alla (trading as Local AI Signal) ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the Local AI Signal website, applications, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who you are contracting with
The Service is provided by Jack Alla. References to "we" and "us" refer to Jack Alla. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and, where you act for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
2. The Service
Local AI Signal helps you monitor and improve how your business appears in answers produced by AI assistants. Features vary by plan and may change over time as we improve the Service.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
- Engage in fraud, spam, or abusive automation.
- Infringe intellectual property or misappropriate confidential information.
- Interfere with security, probe for vulnerabilities, upload malware, or scrape the Service in a way that harms it.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service, or circumvent its technical limits.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, content, design, and branding, is owned by Jack Alla and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your internal business use during the term of your subscription. You retain ownership of content you submit; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
6. Payment, subscriptions, taxes, and refunds — Paddle as Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax collection, invoicing, currency, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. For refund eligibility and how to request one, see our Refund Policy.
7. Service level and availability
We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. AI outputs are provided as-is and reflect what third-party models returned at the time of a check; they can change and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them for business decisions.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is capped at the fees you paid to us (via Paddle) for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, fraud or personal injury caused by negligence).
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing or through the Paddle customer portal. On termination, your licence ends; you may export your data during a reasonable window before it is deleted or anonymised in line with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may change the Service or these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jack Alla is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
14. Assignment and miscellaneous
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure).
